Bresnahan shuts down rumors of Tobyhanna Army Depot closure

TOBYHANNA, MONROE CO. (WOLF) — Last week, FOX56 visited the Tobyhanna Army Depot amid rumors and concerns of job security following reductions through Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency. Today we received word that those rumors are untrue from Representative Rob Bresnahan after his visit to the Depot. “Our team went to work with the army house liaison, which relayed from the army material command that the rumors about the shutdown at Tobyhanna Army Depot that the rumors are just rumors,” said Rep. Bresnahan. Bresnahan also said the Depot is vital to Northeastern Pennsylvania, generating $3.3 billion dollars for the local economy and providing over 3,000 jobs.
