SCRANTON, PA: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) launched the 2026 Congressional Art Competition, inviting high school students across Pennsylvania’s Eighth District to submit their art projects and showcase their talents. The winning artwork will be displayed for a year in the U.S. Capitol.

WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) and the House Committee on Agriculture passed the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, this year’s Farm Bill, by a bipartisan vote of 34-17. The package included Rep. Bresnahan’s legislation, the Local Farmers Feeding our Communities Act, which will help build stronger connections between local producers, and community food programs, expanding markets and improving access to healthy food for those in need.

HAWLEY, PA: Last week, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) visited Wallenpaupack Area School District to announce he secured $3,000,000 in federal funding to put towards the construction of a Career and Technical Center (CTC) in Pike County. The new CTC will serve the Wallenpaupack Area School District and students in Wayne and Pike Counties.
