Bresnahan Announces 2026 Spring Internship Program in Washington, D.C. and the District
WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) announced that his office is accepting applications for the 2026 Spring Internship Program. Candidates have the option to apply for an internship based in either Washington, D.C., or in one of Rep. Bresnahan’s district offices.
The program is open to college students and young professionals interested in gaining hands-on experience with the legislative process and congressional operations. Interns will perform a variety of tasks including constituent outreach, legislative research, community engagement, and more, with the possibility of earning school credit. Spring internships will run from January to May 2026, with specific dates provided during the interview process. All applications must be submitted via Rep. Bresnahan’s website by December 12, 2025.
“An internship in our office, whether in Northeastern Pennsylvania or on Capitol Hill, is more than just a learning experience,” said Rep. Bresnahan. “Interns are part of the team from day one, contributing to meaningful projects, engaging with constituents, and gaining a firsthand understanding of how government serves the public. We’re excited to welcome a new class of bright, committed individuals ready to make a difference in our communities and beyond.”
