WASHINGTON, DC — On January 22, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) voted in favor of H.R. 7147, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026 and H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026. H.R. 7147 passed the House by a vote of 220-207, and H.R. 7148, which includes three of the 12 appropriations bills for Fiscal Year 2026, passed the House by a vote of 341-88.
U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan Jr. visited Tobyhanna Army Depot ahead of the planned expansion of its radar campus.
Bresnahan, a Republican representing the 8th District of Pennsylvania, took a tour on Jan. 15 along with media.
According to information provided by the depot, the two-phase expansion of the depot’s radar test range “will increase capacity and capability to 3 radomes and 15 distinct pads” from its current five radar test sites with eight distinct pads.

For the past 24 days, the United States Government has been shut down, resulting in lost paychecks for federal workers, and looming benefit losses for those on programs like SNAP.
