WASHINGTON, DC — The week of Sunday, June 28, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) introduced legislation to strengthen coordination between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Through this coordination, the Protect Seniors and Veterans from Healthcare Fraud Act would prevent duplicative billing, reduce waste, and better protect taxpayer dollars.
Bresnahan first spoke about his legislation during a House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Health Subcommittee Hearing on Tuesday, June 30.

WASHINGTON, DC — On January 22, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) voted in favor of H.R. 7147, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026 and H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026. H.R. 7147 passed the House by a vote of 220-207, and H.R. 7148, which includes three of the 12 appropriations bills for Fiscal Year 2026, passed the House by a vote of 341-88.
