FORTY FORT, PA: U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) officially announced plans for a telephone town hall for next Tuesday, March 25, at 5:30 PM. This will be the first Congressional town hall held in Pennsylvania’s Eighth Congressional District in over four years.

FORTY FORT, PA: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) sent a letter to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) urging them to reject a 10.8% rate hike on utilities recently proposed by UGI Utilities (UGI).
 
WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) voted in favor of H.R. 1968, Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025, which passed the House by a vote of 217-213. The continuing resolution provides funding to operate the Federal government through September 30, 2025.
 
 
 
WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) released the following statement on H.Con.Res. 14, the House’s Fiscal Year 2025 budget resolution, which passed by a vote of 217-215.
“Last night’s vote was just a procedural step to start federal budget negotiations and does NOT change any current laws. I will fight to protect working-class families in Northeastern Pennsylvania and stand with President Trump in opposing gutting Medicaid. My position on this has not and will not change.”

Rep. Bresnahan introduced the legislation alongside his Pennsylvania colleagues, House Committee on Agriculture Chairman G.T. Thompson (PA-15) and Representative Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14).
