WILKES-BARRE — U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan Jr. on Monday said the best way to address concerns and questions of his constituents is to talk to them directly.

That’s why Bresnahan, R-Dallas Township, said he will hold a telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 25.

“I want to give constituents a direct line to ask and hear about what directly affects them and their families,” Bresnahan said. “I want to make sure the people of the 8th Congressional District hear directly from me and it's also important for me to hear directly from them.”

That’s why Bresnahan, R-Dallas Township, said he voted in favor of H.R. 1968 — Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025 — which passed the House by a vote of 217-213.

The continuing resolution provides funding to operate the Federal government through Sept. 30, 2025.
