WILKES-BARRE — U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan Jr. on Tuesday said he will continue to advocate for the Tobyhanna Army Depot and the family-sustaining jobs it provides Northeast Pennsylvania.

Bresnahan, R-Dallas Township, visited the depot and said he is committed to working with the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense to secure the resources needed to keep Tobyhanna operational and thriving.

U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan (R-PA) is fighting to protect the more than 764,000 constituents in the northeastern Pennsylvania district he represents from a 10.8 percent rate increase proposed by UGI Utilities, a natural gas and electric utility.

WILKES-BARRE — U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan Jr. on Monday said the best way to address concerns and questions of his constituents is to talk to them directly.

That’s why Bresnahan, R-Dallas Township, said he will hold a telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 25.

“I want to give constituents a direct line to ask and hear about what directly affects them and their families,” Bresnahan said. “I want to make sure the people of the 8th Congressional District hear directly from me and it's also important for me to hear directly from them.” 

WILKES-BARRE — U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan Jr., on Thursday sent a letter to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission PUC urging the agency to reject a 10.8% rate hike on utilities recently proposed by UGI Utilities UGI.

WILKES-BARRE — U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan Jr. said on Tuesday he arrived in Washington, D.C., to make life better for the people of Northeast Pennsylvania.

That’s why Bresnahan, R-Dallas Township, said he voted in favor of H.R. 1968 — Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025 — which passed the House by a vote of 217-213.

The continuing resolution provides funding to operate the Federal government through Sept. 30, 2025.

MONROE CO. (WOLF) — Sunday's roundtable discussion was centered around addressing Northeastern Pennsylvania issues and how Rep. Bresnahan plans to work with the Environmental Protection Agency.

U.S. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin emphasized the need for balanced regulations that consider both environmental and economic concerns.

CHESAPEAKE BAY WATERSHED — During a roundtable held Sunday, March 2, elected officials from Northeast Pennsylvania raised concerns over a “rain tax,” which they said unfairly impacts property owners in the Northeast Pennsylvania portion of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. 

SWIFTWATER, Pa. — State and local lawmakers gathered around the table at the Swiftwater Hotel in Monroe County to talk about environmental concerns in northeast Pennsylvania. Congressman Rob Bresnahan spearheaded the roundtable, and US Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin was alongside him.
