Then he didn’t when it seemed inevitable.

Graham, 91, is credited with saving thousands of U.S. troops during hundreds of combat missions during his four tours of duty in Vietnam.

WASHINGTON, DC — The week of March 15, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) voted in favor of H.R. 1958, the Deporting Fraudsters Act of 2026, legislation to crack down on fraud and abuse in federal benefit programs by ensuring individuals who illegally exploit these systems are held accountable and removed. The bill passed with bipartisan support by a vote of 231-186.

WASHINGTON, DC — On March 18, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) voted in favor of H.R. 5688, Dalilah’s Law, during a markup held by the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. The legislation, which passed out of committee by a vote of 35-26, would ensure all commercial driver’s license (CDL) holders in the United States understand English and requires states to verify they are not issuing CDLs to illegal immigrants.

Lisa Chervanka went from concerned to elated as the saga of the sale of three local hospitals facing financial challenges played out and a new owner emerged.

Praised by U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan, R-8, Dallas Twp., for her 30-plus years of service in the nursing field, Chervanka was slated to serve as the congressman’s guest during the State of the Union address Tuesday night.

The Carbondale Twp. woman, who works as a nurse at Regional Hospital of Scranton, serves as the clinical lead for interventional radiology.

Pennsylvania’s top prosecutor stressed the need for law enforcement to outpace criminals with state-of-the art technology.

During a roundtable discussion Wednesday, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said his office sees a range of technology-fueled crime, from scamming senior citizens to identifying youth vulnerable to human trafficking.

Technology has “supercharged the bad guys’ ability,” he said.

But law enforcement can counter with state-of-the-art technology that identifies schemes and addresses them before they become reality.
